Esto me parecia en mi caso particular.

edite #/etc/default/grub

GRUB_DEFAULT=0
GRUB_TIMEOUT=5
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian`
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="vga=792"

ahora agregue

GRUB_DEFAULT=0
GRUB_TIMEOUT=5
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian`
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet acpi_enforce_resources=no"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="vga=792"

luego con
#update-grub

con esto reflejara la configuracion en /boot/grub/grub.cfg
